is rambutan. very popular here. sort of looks like a cross between a sea urchin and bart simpson’s hair. however, inside you’ll find a yummy fruit that is something akin to lychee or mango. i will admit that i was a little intimidated by its appearance..it is one fierce fruit. but unfortunately due to US customs this one won’t be making it back to the states with me..
